A new site!  If you’ve been on the edge of your seat in breathless anticipation, you may now exhale.     With the change in seasons (hellooooo spring!!), I felt like it was about time to tear down the dark wallpaper and slap on a fresh coat of paint.  I’m diggin it, and I hope you are, too.

I have been SO ready for the change in season.  While I do adore hot chocolate and snow and being cozy when baby-it’s-cold-outside, I also love sunshine and warmth and walking outside in 70-degree weather.  After being cooped up indoors for how many months, it’s positively invigorating to be outside and running and breathing in all that fresh air.  Air…does a body good.

Speaking of changes in season, I think another one is around the corner for me, figuratively speaking.  I can only say that I feel “stirred”.  Stirred to write new songs and try new things and record a new project.   Stirred to ponder, plan, and persevere.  Stirred to start a new journey.  My current musical obsessions tend to reflect where I’m presently at in life, and as of late Future of Forestry’s “Set Your Sails” has been pulsing through my veins.  (LISTEN TO IT!!  Such a great song.  Add it to the list of ones I wish I’d written.) “And nothing but moving will do/And it will be alright”…I take it as a gentle nudge to get the sleeves rolled up and get ready for the next chapter…whatever that may be.
